Jello with edible flowers and fruit

    It is usually followed when someone is allergic to nuts.

Jello with edible flowers and fruit


  • In a bowl, add the gelatin powder and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix until you create a mixture that is like a thick paste.
  • Heat the wine and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. As soon as the mixture starts to boil, remove from heat.
  • Whisk until the sugar dissolves completely and add the gelatin paste.
  • Whisk until the gelatin completely dissolves in the wine.
  • Add 1/3 of the mixture to a 14 cm round cake pan with a hole in the middle.
  • Decorate with half of the edible flowers and press them down into the mixture.
  • Distribute the blueberries within the mixture also.
  • Quarter the strawberries and them to the mixture also, mixing them between the blueberries and edible flowers.
  • Place the cake pan in the freezer for 15 minutes so the mixture can thicken a little.
  •  Remove the pan from the freezer, add the rest of the wine mixture over it and place in freezer again until you prepare the yogurt.

For the yogurt mixture

  • In a bowl, add the gelatin powder and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix until you create a mixture that is like a thick paste.
  • Heat the milk and the heavy cream in a saucepan over low to medium heat.
  • As soon as the mixture starts to boil, remove from heat and add the honey, yogurt and gelatin paste.
  • Whisk and add the lemon juice. Whisk until all of the ingredients are completely incorporated.
  • Remove the pan from the freezer and add the yogurt mixture over the jello mixture.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours, until completely firm.
  • Turn out of cake pan and serve with extra edible flowers.
