3 Ingredient Cake

Method

  • Preheat oven to 160* C (320* F) Fan.
  • In a bowl, combine the mascarpone and hazelnut chocolate praline until completely combined.
  • Add the flour by sifting it into the bowl and stir with a spatula completely incorporated.
  • Grease a 10x20cm cake pan with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
  • Add the cake batter. Use a spoon to spread it evenly in the cake pan and smooth the surface.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
  • To make sure the cake is done, insert the blade of a knife into the center. When it comes out clean and dry, the cake is ready.
  • When ready, remove from oven and set it aside to cool on a wire rack.
  • In the meantime, combine the 200 g of mascarpone with the 200 g of hazelnut chocolate praline in a bowl, until completely combined.
  • Refrigerate until the frosting is needed.
  • After about 1 hour, when the cake has cooled, spread the frosting all over the cake.
  • Dust with icing sugar and cut into pieces with a serrated knife.
