Soy milk

  • Vegetarian Diet

    Diet based on cereals, pulses, nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits and other animal foods such as honey and eggs. Excludes meat, fish, mollusks.

  • Vegan Diet

    Diet based on vegetables, legumes and green leaves. It excludes foods such as meat, fish, mollusks, dairy products, eggs, honey and their by-products.

  • Gluten Free Diet

    Excludes foods containing gluten, such as wheat, barley, rye and their by-products.

  • Dairy Free Diet

    Excludes foods such as milk, yoghurt, cheese and their by-products.

  • Egg Free Diet

    It is usually followed when someone is allergic to this food.

  • Sugar Free Diet

    Limits all sources of added sugars and encourages the reduction of high-carbohydrate (high glycemic index) foods. A claim that a food can be classified as SF can be made when it contains less than 0.5 gr of sugars per 100 gr of solid food or 100 ml of liquid food.

  • Nuts Free Diet

    It is usually followed when someone is allergic to nuts.

Soy milk

Method

  • In a bowl, add the soy bean and enough water to submerge them. Let them soak for 8-10 hours.
  • Drain the beans and rinse with plenty of water.
  • In a blender, add the beans, 750 g water and salt. Beat for 2-3 minutes until the beans break down.
  • Place a strainer over a bowl and line the strained with a cheese cloth.
  • Carefully pour in the mixture into it and let it drain.
  • Wring the cheese cloth to remove all of the liquid.
  • Pour the liquid in a pot and add the rest of the water.
  • Place pot over high heat and let the mixture come to a boil.
  • Lower the heat to medium and let it simmer for 20 minutes, defrothing every so often.
  • Let it cool and serve.
  • .

To serve

  • Remove the stems from the strawberries. Beat them in a blender with the milk until incorporated.
  • Serve in glasses.
