Chia and berry porridge

  • Vegetarian Diet

Chia and berry porridge

Method

  • Use a knife to break open the coconuts in half, lengthwise. Wash them and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Place a saucepan over medium heat and add the oat flakes and milk. Mix and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes once it starts boiling, until the oats soak up all of the milk and remove from heat.
  • Add the chia seeds, cinnamon and salt.
  • Mix with a wooden spoon and divide the porridge between the coconut shells, that will be your bowls!
  • Top with fresh berries and an edible flower in each coconut shell.
  • Drizzle each portion with 1 teaspoon of maple syrup and serve.
