I know how much we all love eating an assortment of traditional or non-traditional sweets for Christmas.
I also know that there are a lot of people who are allergic to gluten or gluten intolerant and cannot enjoy these sweets.
I want to dedicate this Diary to those of you who struggle with this intolerance and offer you these delicious gluten free recipes. I want to give you the chance to enjoy absolutely delicious gluten free sweets that may be even tastier than the regular ones!
I’ve also thrown in a savory gluten free recipe at the end as a surprise!
All of course all of the recipes are suitable for everyone, whether you are gluten intolerant or not. Believe me, you will love them!
I’d like to start off by giving you a very easy cookie recipe that you can make in 2 different ways. You can make the Easy Gluten Free Cinnamon Cookies or the Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cinnamon Cookies with my favorite ingredient… peanut butter!
They are both delicious so why not make them both! Both are crispy, aromatic and very light. It will be very difficult to eat just one of them!
One sweet that most people try to stay away from… is cake… since most of them are made with flour. Of course you can make a cake with gluten free flour OR you can simply try this very wintery recipe I’m recommending.
It’s a No Bake Gluten Free Chestnut Cake that lacks nothing in taste, is quick to make and requires no baking!
Also, the chestnuts and white chocolate you use to decorate the cake with will be an extra treat and it will become your new favorite cake!
I’ve left this heavenly chocolate sweet for last… an amazing Chocolate Pudding Pie. Make this fluffy pie quickly and don’t skip the crumble. Just use gluten free flour to make it so as to not miss out on the crunchy texture it will offer!
It’s a great sweet for the holidays but it may just even become your weekly treat!
And now for the savory recipe I promised… Gluten Free Sun Dried Tomato and Parmesan Bread.
It is filled with parmesan cheese and sun dried tomatoes and made with gluten free flour. You don’t even need to roll out the dough, simply combine this tasty combination of ingredients I’m giving you, bake it in the oven and you will have a delicious, warm, homemade bread to enjoy and give as a present to your loved ones.
Try making all of these recipes and send me pictures, comments and feedback. I love hearing from you!
So this Christmas, you can enjoy gluten free sweets that are made with few ingredients, a good mood and of course recipes like these! You will love the taste and aroma and you won’t need to feel like you’re missing out on anything. In fact you might like these gluten free sweets even better than those made with flour!
