I hope you are not among the people who claim that fall is dull and gloomy! Because if you are, I challenge you (and invite you) to look around you… in a park or any area with some trees that are left. What do you see? Personally I see the leaves changing colors on the trees and turning to their characteristic yellow color that I like so much! The first rains – apart from creating a bit of traffic in the streets – also bring that characteristic smell of wet earth. Homes are filled with the faces of loved ones who we now meet indoors for more laid back good times with a homey feel. Yes, fall is beautiful. You can find all of this beauty….
·…in a pretty arrangement with pumpkins, yellow leaves and flowers of the fall that can easily be placed at the entrance of your home, in some corner or even in your dining room.
·… in a vase full of dried twigs, pine nuts and generally anything you can find while taking a walk in nature or - even closer - in a park in your neighborhood!
·… in the seasonal fruits and vegetables that blend so nicely with all the various spices and ingredients of each recipe for sweets and dishes that bring to life the aromas of fall.
At this point my friends, I would like to take a moment to take in all of the aromas of fall that fill your home and entice our appetite! You can find them all in these wonderful recipes…
Try making the ones that inspire you or that you find interesting, share them with your friends and loved ones and welcome the most.. misunderstood season of the year. Yes, fall is here! It is up to your to enjoy it until winter starts to share its cool breeze! ;-)
