Do you get the heebie-jeebies every time Valentine’s Day comes around? Well, you can’t avoid it seeing that most of the population all over the world has caught the bug! So you can be an anti-valentiner!
The shortest month of the year is here and with it, smack in the middle is the most dreaded or loved holiday of all… Valentine’s Day!
Whether you are coupled or single you will have a great time!
If you are a new couple, then the only thing you will want is to spend time together so that you can get to know one another better… discover each other’s favorite music, favorite movies, favorite ice cream flavor… Even if you sit together and eat sunflower seeds on a bench out in the cold in the middle of February it would be a wonderful experience!
If you have been with your significant other for quite some time you must be thinking… uh-oh!! What would be the right gift to get… what card.. what should I cook… where should I take her to dinner… what should I wear.. what kind of music should I play… etc!! It seems that the longer you are with someone… the expectations seems to get bigger!
All the commercials, articles in magazines and on the internet don’t seem to help. Even I bombard you with special recipes for the day! But what can I do? You guys ask me to!
Anyway, I’m trying to say that I know things are tough.. especially when your budget is low. You can’t even steal some flowers from the neighborhood florist since you’ll get in trouble and seeing that it is the middle of February you can’t even pick a flower from someone’s budding garden! I have a ton of valentine recipes for you to look through here!
On the other hand, if you are single things might be a little easier… depending of course on what kind of friends you have… If you have a lot of single friends you will have better chances of having a good time on Valentine’s Day.
I suggest you all get together over someone’s house and throw a party!! Of course you will cook delicious foods and listen to some great music like this.
Let’s get to the food now!! I promise we will have a great time cooking together!
