Vegetarian Whole Wheat Farfalle with Hazelnut Pesto
  • Bring a pot full of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the farfalle pasta for 1 minute less than the instructions on the package. You want the pasta to be al dente.
  • Beat all of the ingredients for the pesto sauce (apart from the lemon zest) for 3 minutes in a food processor, until they are completely combined and create a paste.
  • When the pasta is ready, transfer to a bowl, add the hazelnut pesto sauce and toss well.
  • Serve with the lemon zest, parsley and extra chopped hazelnuts.
  • You can also drizzle with some extra virgin olive oil.
