Strawberry mousse

  • Vegetarian Diet

Strawberry mousse

Method

  • Remove the stems of the strawberries and add them into a food processor along with the sugar. 
  • Process for 1 minute until the strawberries are completely dissolved with the sugar and they become a puree. Transfer the puree to a bowl
  • In a mixer’s bowl beat the heavy cream with the whisk attachment at high speed, for 3-4 minutes, until it is fluffy and well-whipped. 
  • Remove the bowl from the mixer and add half of the strawberry puree.
  • Lightly fold the puree with the whipped cream until there is a uniform pink mousse. 
  • Serve in glasses by dividing the rest of the strawberry puree on the bottom and the mousse on top. 
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the mousse thickens. 
  • Decorate with strawberries and serve.
