Homemade fruit jelly

  • Gluten Free Diet

    Excludes foods containing gluten, such as wheat, barley, rye and their by-products.

  • Nuts Free Diet

    It is usually followed when someone is allergic to nuts.

Method

  • In a bowl add the gelatin sheets with half of the water.  Set aside for 3-4 minutes to soak well.
  • In a pot add the rest of the water, the sugar, and transfer on heat. Boil until the sugar melts.
  • Add the gelatins along with the water and stir until they melt.
  • Add the wine, the lime zest and juice, and whisk.
  • Do not want it to thicken completely.

To serve

  • Add 3 tablespoons of the jelly into a glass, add the fruits, and cover with jelly and fruits until the glass is filled.
  • Follow the same process for 3 more glasses.
  • Serve with basil leaves.
