  1. Preheat the oven to 175C (Fan)
  2. Prepare a springform 24cm in diameter or a 9x9inch baking pan and line it with baking paper. For the biscuit base:
  3. Crush the biscuits in a food processor until they get a powdery consistency.
  4. Melt the butter in the microwave and add it to the crushed biscuits. Mix with a spatula so it becomes like wet sand, then put it in the baking pan you are using and press it down to form the base of the cake. Put the form/pan aside to start with the cake batter. For the chocolate cake batter (you dont need a mixer, just a spatula WOOHOO :p) :
  5. Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove on a low heat.
  6. In a big bowl add the melted butter and the sugar and mix them together with the spatula. Then mix in the 2 M/L eggs.
  7. In another bowl add the dry ingredients : flour, cocoa, coffee powder, salt, vanilla sugar / vanilla extract. Sift the dry ingredients in the other bowl with the butter/sugar/egg mixture and blend with a spatula so that you get a nice chocolate mixture. Put the chocolate batter/mixture over the biscuit base and at this point you can stick in some chocolate pieces (plain chocolate, nutella, ferrero rocher, M&Ms, or any kind). Bake in a preheated oven (175C), for 20-23 minutes. The cake has to be soft in the middle so dont leave it for more than 23 minutes. You can serve it as it is, with a scoop of ice-cream or some whipped cream. ENJOYYY ! :)
