Pork chops with charcutière sauce

Method

  • Place a pot over high heat.
  • Spread olive oil, salt, and pepper over the pork chops and add them to the pot.
  • Add thyme, the garlic finely chopped, and sauté the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden-brown.
  • Deglaze the pot with the wine and let it evaporate completely.
  • Add the sugar, mustard, heavy cream, and cover with the lid. Lower the heat to medium and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from the heat and serve with the mashed potatoes, cucumber pickles, oregano, and thyme.
