- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1 large carrot
- 3-4 pieces of sweet potato (optional)
- celery root
- 1 medium onion
- some dill
- 50 ml of cream
- 1 large lemon
- olive oil
Finnish salmon soup
- Peel the vegetable and sweat them for 5 minutes with the olive oil and salt, then add the boiling water and pepper and boil for 20-25 minutes, or until everything is cooked through.
- On a separate pan boil the salmon for 10 minutes and then remove the bones and skin, you can skip this step if your salmon fillets have no skin and bones and simply add it for the last 15 minutes of cooking to the vegetable.
- Once you combine the boiled salmon and vegetables, let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes. To garnish, add the juice of one large lemon, 50 ml of cream, and dill.
