Chop up onions or other vegetables and put them in resealable plastic bags and refrigerate. This way they will be ready to use when you need them. You can store them for up to 1 week in the refrigerator and much longer in the freezer. I know that most of you are pressed for time and this will save you some time. It’s also great to have on hand on holidays when stores aren’t open and you suddenly decide you want to cook some vegetables!!
